Arctic Drive is scheduled for Early Access on November 25, 2026. The developers have announced the date but not an exact unlock hour. A countdown on our release page targets the start of the day in UTC and is labeled accordingly.

The publisher lists PC via Steam and Xbox Game Preview. Steam currently lists Windows as the supported operating system. No PlayStation, Switch or mobile version has been announced.

The price is still TBA. The developer says the price will gradually increase as content and features are added during Early Access, and that players who join earlier get the lower price. There is no official pre-purchase price yet.

The developer currently expects a little under a year. The Steam Early Access statement says the timeline can change based on player feedback, the game’s needs and new opportunities.

Yes. Steam lists single-player, and the game is designed for one to four players. Solo players still manage the car, supplies and temperature, but revival kits and some co-op roles only matter in multiplayer.

The world is procedurally generated each run, with a randomized road network and points of interest. The Steam description explicitly frames the trip as “a long road with no map.” There is no fixed map database we can publish, because routes change between runs.

Save/load is confirmed for solo and multiplayer. Leaving to the main menu automatically saves, and the host stores a multiplayer save. Solo players can pause with Escape. Steam Cloud is not listed on the store page.

Brian is the friend at the center of the scenario. The developer says Brian went to get more gas and never came back, and the player follows him. The official screenshot shows a cabin note reading “BRIAN GONE?” The full story is not public before launch.

Up to four players in online co-op, with one to four supported. The official store page lists single-player, online co-op and co-op categories. The developer has not announced local split-screen.

No local co-op or split-screen mode has been announced. The confirmed mode is online co-op for up to four players. Treat any split-screen claim as unconfirmed until the developer publishes it.

Steam-to-Steam multiplayer is confirmed. Crossplay between Steam and Xbox has not been clearly confirmed in public materials, and Steam does not currently list a Cross-Platform Multiplayer category. We do not recommend buying the Xbox version for crossplay until the developer confirms it.

No player-versus-player mode has been announced. The game is a co-op survival experience where the environment, weather, vehicle damage and resource pressure are the opposition.

No Game Pass release has been announced. The official materials list Xbox Game Preview, which is a separate early-access program. We will update this answer if Microsoft or the publisher confirms Game Pass.

Yes. The free demo is a separate app on Steam, released October 8, 2026. It includes a scenario, multiple biomes, blizzards and a taste of the crafting and driving loop. The current demo build is v0.19.2 according to the developer.

The developer has not announced demo-to-Early-Access progress carry-over. We will not assume it. Treat the demo as a test drive and keep a separate save plan for launch.

Minimum: Windows 10/11 64-bit, Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD R5 1600X, 4 GB RAM, GTX 1650 or equivalent, DirectX 11 and 15 GB storage. Recommended: i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 2600X, 8 GB RAM and an RTX 3060 or equivalent. Broadband is listed for both.

Steam lists 14 interface languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Danish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America) and Traditional Chinese. English is the only language with full audio listed; the store table does not mark subtitles.

Steam does not currently list achievements, cloud saves or Workshop support for Arctic Drive. The store categories show single-player, multiplayer, co-op, online co-op, save anytime, partial controller support and family sharing. Features can be added later.

No monsters, zombies or combat system have been announced. The main threats are cold, hunger, thirst, vehicle damage, storms and hazardous driving. Wildlife is listed as a full-release roadmap item, not a confirmed Early Access combat system.

Mod support is listed in the post-launch Expeditions roadmap milestone. The Steam Early Access statement says Steam Workshop or other mod support is still in planning and may be added during development. Do not expect Workshop support at launch.
