What this table covers

The machine, broken into decisions.

Parts are grouped by the job they do, not by an invented rarity tier. A part can be Confirmed by the developer, Observed in an official screenshot, or Planned on the roadmap. We do not publish current stats unless the developer publishes them.

The game has rebalanced engines, tires, part weights and fuel use throughout 2026. Treat every entry as a map of the system, not a launch-day stat sheet.

Confirmed

The developer, publisher or store page states it directly.

Observed

It appears in an official screenshot or pre-launch build. The value may change.

Planned

It is on the roadmap or in an Early Access statement, not necessarily in the current build.

Unconfirmed

We found no primary source. Treat it as unknown, not as a fact.

Old Car EngineObserved

Official Steam screenshot, pre-launch build

EngineCar

A classic four-cylinder engine that is durable but thirsty and prone to overheating.

Field note

The in-game engine panel lists peak torque, fuel efficiency in km/L, battery start cost, battery charge rate, heat gain, temperature range, oil mixture and capacity. The official screenshot’s tooltip says it needs a battery to start. Engine stats have been rebalanced repeatedly during playtests, so we do not publish the screenshot’s numbers as current values.

Engines (salvaged upgrades)Confirmed
EngineCar

Explore the world to find engines with different stats and driving feel.

Field note

The press kit confirms that engines are findable vehicle upgrades. The developer later rebalanced engine torque, top speed and fuel consumption. Exact engine tiers and spawn rules have not been published; check the in-game part panel before swapping.

BatteryConfirmed
EngineCar

Starts the engine and supports the electrical system.

Field note

The Old Car Engine tooltip explicitly requires a battery to start. The engine panel also shows a battery start cost and charge rate. Batteries are among the scavengeable supplies listed by the publisher, and a Battery recipe appears in an official workbench screenshot.

Old Car RadiatorConfirmed
CoolingCar

Part of engine cooling; a dry radiator produces a warning while driving.

Field note

Radiators were explicitly improved in demo v0.19.2: the game now displays a message when there is no water in the radiator while driving. A spare radiator was also added at the starting area in the same patch.

Oil and oil mixtureObserved

Official Steam engine screenshot

CoolingCar

Engine oil is a maintenance fluid tracked by the engine panel.

Field note

The engine inspection screen shows an oil mixture bar and a maximum capacity reading. The publisher lists oil as a scavengeable resource and says players must manage fluids. The game does not publish a universal oil interval; use the in-game panel.

TiresConfirmed
Tires & tractionCar

Tires change grip and driving feel; winter grip matters more than top speed.

Field note

The press kit confirms tires as findable parts. An official workbench screenshot shows a “Sponello Summer Tire” whose description warns that driving with it is risky and that grip is “purely theoretical” in winter conditions. Tire pressure, wear rates and exact grip values are not published.

Sponello Summer TireObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

Tires & tractionCar

A craftable summer tire with an explicit winter-grip warning.

Field note

Observed in an official workbench screenshot. The tooltip calls it a risky choice for winter driving. Treat it as a stopgap, not an upgrade, unless you are deliberately building a low-grip challenge run.

Tire chainsConfirmed
Tires & tractionCar, Trailer, RV

A traction upgrade listed by the publisher for winter driving.

Field note

The press kit lists chains among the parts that change vehicle stats and driving feel. Exact grip bonuses, speed limits and fitting rules have not been published.

WinchConfirmed
RecoveryCar, Trailer, RV

Recovery equipment for getting a rig unstuck.

Field note

The press kit lists winches as findable vehicle equipment. The public materials do not document anchor rules, cable length or whether a winch can move a trailer. Driving into deep snow is a known risk; carry recovery options before committing to an unmarked detour.

Repair kits (levels 1–3)Confirmed
RecoveryCar, Trailer, RV

Tiered repair consumables for patching vehicle damage.

Field note

The closed-beta update added repair kits of levels 2 and 3, alongside the existing level 1. An official workbench screenshot shows Good and Excellent repair kits. Exact repair amounts, time costs and whether a kit can repair every part are not published.

SledgehammerObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

ToolsCar, Trailer, RV, Base

A physical tool used for breaking and building; quality tiers exist.

Field note

The closed-beta notes mention walls broken with a sledgehammer, and official workbench screenshots show Good and Excellent sledgehammers. The press kit also describes a crafting loop in which players recycle items into upgrades.

HeaterConfirmed
HeatingCar, Trailer, RV, Base

Warmth equipment for the cab or mobile base.

Field note

The press kit lists heaters as vehicle equipment. Trailers gained heaters and electricity in the August 2026 camper update. The screenshot HUD shows body temperature, but the exact heat output, fuel draw and safe temperature thresholds are not published.

Solar panelsConfirmed
PowerTrailer, RV, Base

Power generation for heaters, lights and base equipment.

Field note

The publisher’s game page says players can add solar panels and extra batteries to power heaters and lights. Output, daylight requirements and panel degradation are not documented.

Extra batteriesConfirmed
PowerTrailer, RV, Base

Base power storage for modules that need electricity.

Field note

Listed by the publisher as a mobile-base upgrade alongside solar panels. The crafting overhaul also made benches and recyclers require generator power, so power planning is not optional for a serious base build.

Base lightsConfirmed
PowerTrailer, RV, Base

Interior and exterior lighting for dark hours.

Field note

The publisher explicitly mentions lights among the systems powered by solar panels and batteries. Arctic Drive has a full day-night cycle, so lighting is both practical and a visibility aid around camp.

Storage upgradesConfirmed
StorageCar, Trailer, RV

More secure places to pack supplies; every object is physical.

Field note

The press kit lists storage upgrades as vehicle customization. The August 2026 update added transport boxes and shelves in multiple sizes, and the closed-beta notes describe a cargo placement system. Weight still slows the vehicle and burns more fuel.

Cargo BoxObserved

Official Steam workbench and build-menu screenshots

StorageCar, Trailer, RV

A craftable crate for keeping loose supplies together.

Field note

Cargo Box appears as a craftable item in official workbench screenshots. A build-menu screenshot shows the box being placed. The closed-beta notes mention cargo boxes that occasionally failed to open; demo v0.19.2 fixed that. Physical cargo can still shift or spill in a crash.

Transport boxes and shelvesConfirmed
StorageCar, Trailer, RV, Base

Lootable or craftable boxes and shelves in several sizes.

Field note

Added in the August 2026 camper update. They can be attached to a car or trailer to keep items safe. Exact capacities and attachment rules are not published; the physical cargo system means a bad crash can still scatter an unsecured load.

BunksConfirmed
LivingTrailer, RV

A place to sleep in a converted mobile base.

Field note

The press kit lists bunks among the modules that turn trailers and RVs into mobile bases. Sleep mechanics, comfort requirements and whether sleeping skips time have not been documented in public materials.

MicrowaveConfirmed
LivingTrailer, RV

A comfort and food module for the mobile base.

Field note

Listed by the publisher alongside bunks, radio and storage as part of a camper build. Power draw and cooking functionality are not detailed; the separate Cooking Bench is the confirmed food-crafting station.

RadioConfirmed
LivingTrailer, RV, Base

In-cab radio and music; a small comfort system with real UI behavior.

Field note

The press kit lists a radio as a base module. The demo patch notes mention the scenario radio turning off after two repeats. Music and voice lines trigger at key moments in the scenario. Do not expect a licensed station list; none has been published.

InstrumentsConfirmed
LivingTrailer, RV, Base

Playable instruments found in the world.

Field note

The publisher says players can “share a tune on instruments you uncover along the way.” Instrument types, multiplayer sync behavior and any gameplay effect outside morale are not documented.

Resource scannerConfirmed
ToolsTrailer, RV, Base

A base module that helps locate fuel, food and parts.

Field note

The publisher describes a mountable resource scanner that locates fuel, food and parts. Its range, power draw, cooldown and accuracy are not published. Treat it as a planning aid, not a guaranteed loot radar.

Storm scannerConfirmed
ToolsTrailer, RV, Base

A warning system for incoming blizzards.

Field note

The publisher lists a storm scanner that warns of incoming blizzards. Warning lead time, power requirements and reliability are not published. Physical storms can move objects, so a warning is only useful if you have already secured cargo.

Flare GunObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

ToolsCar, Trailer, RV

Calls an emergency air drop to your surroundings.

Field note

The item description in an official workbench screenshot says the flare gun calls an emergency air drop. A later patch notes that air drops should be less likely to land upside down. Number of flares, drop contents and cooldown are not published.

Old FlashlightObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

ToolsCar, Trailer, RV

An early light source for dark interiors and night searches.

Field note

Observed as a craftable item in an official workbench screenshot. The closed-beta notes mention a stutter the first time the flashlight is used that was later fixed. Battery life and light output are not published.

Plastic Ice ScraperObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

ToolsCar, Trailer, RV

An ice-scraping tool listed in the workbench.

Field note

Observed in an official workbench screenshot. Demo v0.18.0 added a frost effect that adapts to how much frost the player has scraped from the windscreen, confirming that windscreen frost is a real visibility mechanic. The scraper’s exact durability and coverage are not published.

Doors and body panelsObserved

Official Steam workbench screenshot

BodyCar

Replaceable doors; crash deformation affects the whole chassis.

Field note

Front-left, front-right, back-left and back-right doors appear as craftable parts in official workbench screenshots. The game simulates chassis and part deformation on impact, and the closed beta added weight values to all vehicle parts. Repairing a door may not fix structural damage.

DecorationsConfirmed
BodyCar, Trailer, RV

Silly decorative objects that can be packed into the rig.

Field note

The publisher explicitly lists decorations among findable upgrades and says players can decorate their mobile base with goofy trinkets. Decorations are physical objects; they add weight and can be thrown around in a crash or storm.

Revival KitConfirmed
ToolsCar, Trailer, RV

A co-op item for reviving downed teammates.

Field note

Revival kits were added for 2–4 player groups in demo v0.18.14 and v0.19.2, with kits placed in the starting garage. They are specifically a multiplayer tool. The exact revive time, range and whether one kit is consumed per revive are not published.

Cooking BenchConfirmed
StationsCar, Trailer, RV, Base

Crafts food, painkillers, anti-frost pills and other supplies.

Field note

The closed-beta crafting overhaul added a Cooking Bench for food and survival supplies. Later updates made cooking bench and big-box recipes available by default in campers, and enabled building a cooking bench in trailers.

Crafting Bench / WorkbenchConfirmed
StationsCar, Trailer, RV, Base

The main station for vehicle parts, tools and base modules.

Field note

Crafting benches and recyclers require generator power. Benches have tiers, and recipes above the current bench tier appear locked. The trailer update allows building a crafting bench inside a trailer, consuming fuel when crafting.

RecyclerConfirmed
StationsBase

Turns salvage into crafting materials; requires generator power.

Field note

The closed-beta update added a recyclable Organic resource and made recyclers require generator power. The official store description says players gather items to recycle and turn into upgrades by crafting. Conversion ratios and accepted item classes are not published.

GeneratorConfirmed
StationsBase

Powers crafting benches and recyclers; burns fuel.

Field note

Generators are a confirmed world POI and base utility. The patch notes say generators consume fuel, and a later balance pass made them consume slightly less. They are not a free power source; plan fuel for both driving and crafting.

Research StationConfirmed
StationsBase

Permanently unlocks recipes from blueprints between runs.

Field note

Added in update 0.9.4. Bringing a blueprint to the Research Station permanently unlocks that recipe, and the unlock persists when the run ends. The six research categories are Vehicles, Decorations, Food, Meds, Clothing and Tools.

Car modsPlanned
EngineCar

A planned feature listed in the post-launch Expeditions milestone.

Field note

The official roadmap lists “new feature: car mods” under the Expeditions updates milestone. No release date, scope or mod platform has been announced. This is not confirmed for Early Access launch.
